Call for Submissions of Art and Handicrafts

for the Holiday Pop-Up Shop at Common Street Arts

Entry Deadline: Monday, October 17, 2016

Common Street Arts is pleased to present its 5th annual Holiday Pop-up Shop at its NEW location at 93 Main Street, Waterville, Maine. During the weeks leading up to the winter holidays, we will transform the gallery into a marketplace filled with handmade items created by artists and craftspeople from around the state. The most memorable holiday gifts will be available at Common Street Arts!

This call for art and handicrafts is open to all artists and craftspeople. If you throw mugs, make oil paintings, design jewelry, knit hats, or create other imaginative gift items, we invite you to apply to this juried exhibition. Unlike a typical gallery exhibition, customers will take items with them upon purchase and Common Street Arts staff will replenish the displays as needed. Common Street Arts will notify participants when stock runs low and additional inventory is needed. All artists will be paid 60%, Common Street Arts members will be paid 70% of the retail price.
